DJ Justin James

GHQ are proud to announce the arrival of DJ Justin James at the headquarters! Justin is one of the newest DJ's to arrive in Edinburgh having made a name for himself DJ'ing at some of the top club nights in the area. He currently has a weekly club night at Club Earth in Livingston and has gained quite a following for his incredible mixes following playing some huge club nights at Drama. With his music choice of commercial chart, dance, funky and electro house, he plans to make his mark on the UK's nightclub scene! Mikey Dow aka DJ Dowser

Mikey Dow aka DJ Dowser started DJing on Nexus pirate radio in the late 90's and then started playing at Frog, a monthly club night at Calton Studios. He then became resident DJ at Oxygen playing alongside Nick Rafferty, Nic Sentience, Andy Farley, Rachael Auburn, Griff Manumission to name but a few. Following on from Oxygen, Mikey helped to set up another monthly club night, Nuklearpuppy which was a massive success and ran for 7 years.

Mikey has played alongside or had residencies with all the big name DJ's on the hard dance scene and has played in Ibiza with Ian M and Nick Lunn.

Mikey took a year out in 2004 from DJing and spent some time in London where he met the Sharp Boys and they unleashed what he calls "The London Sound". He immersed himself in finding out more about that new sound. He then went on to play a off night called Phunkdup at the Honeycombe which still runs in Edinburgh although at a different venue. He was also a guest DJ several times at monthly Edinburgh night Fever with Jon Pleased Wimmin. One of the highlights of his DJing career was playing alongside Junior Vasquez at Club Berlin in Edinburgh in 2008.

Recently Mikey has played in Germany and Ibiza for Edinburgh based club Phunkdup, he has also been signed up by global club brand Kidology for a monthly night in Edinburgh and he has held a weekly Saturday residency at GHQ in the dance bar since it opened in Edinburgh in 2007.

DJ Dale Lush

Dale is the director and founder of Lush Marketing with more than a decade of DJing to his credit. Over the last ten years he has remained firmly rooted in the DJ & Marketing industry and has gained a reputation as one of the true kids of soul. From early gigs down the local social club to playing out at Scotland's top club nights Joy, Wiggle & 44Magnum, he has always remained true to his sound. His musical style has been quite eclectic over the years but once he went black, he never went back! Residing weekly Tuesdays at GHQ, Dale has also been found spinning out at The Living Room, Le Monde, Shanghai, with occasional guest slots at Indigo Yard & Opal Lounge.

DJ Michelle

From her groundbreaking nights at the No1 Club and Flesh at The Hacienda Manchester DJ Michelle has been in the business since the days UK clubbing really took off. Her musical talent and ability to rock any crowd has led to her playing all over the UK and Europe in many infamous clubs.

Past residencies include Reds, Club X and Polo Lounge-Glasgow, Poptastic-Manchester, Kookoo, Rosary Club and Bumper-Liverpool.
You can catch her at her current residencies at Baa-Manchester, Residents Lounge-Liverpool and Girlesque at the Sugar Factory-Amsterdam.

Edinburgh crowds will remember her quality residencies at clubs such as Wiggle, Joy and Velvet and guest spots at the likes of Booty, Fur Burger and Disco Bloodbath where she built up a loyal following of music lovers and party monsters! Now she is back and ready to reclaim her crown as the true party rocker at stylish new gay club GHQ.
