Good day everyone welcome. My name is David and I am the new assistant manager at the Granary on the Shore, and I will be taking you on a trip around what is happening and what is changing at one of Leith's premier dining experiences.
First of all is the continuation of £2 cocktail Thursdays! Every Thursday from the break of dawn, (11am opening time), till the end of day, we will be serving a selection of cocktails for only £2 each! With the cocktail list being populated by the staff, with their own creations or simply cocktails that will appeal to more than themselves, I'm sure that the success of "£2 Cocktail Thursday" will continue long into the summer months!
Next on the agenda is the Spring dining offers. Served from 12 noon till 10 at night, we have a 2 course and a 3 course offer to appeal to your appetite.
Our "Square Deal" offer allows you to choose a 2 course meal for an attractive £8.49 with a tea or coffee on the side.
Next is our "Spring" time offer. For £10.99, you have the choice for a 3 course meal, including a Bombay Sapphire and Tonic or a Smirnoff Vodka and Cranberry to compliment your meal.

Now to our live music selection. For your Friday evening dining, between 5pm and 7.30pm, we have the acoustic piano and vocals of one of our resident pianists, to alleviate the stress of the week and allow you to relax and drink in an accommodating atmosphere. Feel free to sing along but not too loudly, the pianists tend to get jealous!
And to soothe the hangover on a Sunday, the pianist will return from 1pm till 4pm, to provide the background to a pleasant Sunday afternoon.
One more announcement, singer/songwriter Ewan MacFarlane had become our live attraction on a Thursday evening from 8.30pm but is currently touring around Europe and is unavailable for the time being. We wish Ewan all the best while he is away. Ewan is due to return to the Granary in mid to late July.

Andrew Lucas
Andrew D Lucas has been gigging in Scotland for some time now. His music style has evolved as a result of his relentless gigging schedule, finally crawling from the melee of popular covers he was forced to churn out.
He saw people and characters of all ages and sizes, and it was these colourful types that inspired his first album.
His influences include Elton John, Randy Newman, David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen to name but a few.
He learned piano from an old blind piano teacher who played the pump organ for silent movies.
Andrew has finally settled in scotland (his wife's homeland) after trawling all over the globe.
He has lead a colourful life (much like the people he met on travels) working as a chicken farmer, teacher, poet, door to door salesman, chauffeur and now as a reputed singer and pianoist...

Anne Goswell has been running a successful pole dancing fitness school from our fantastic function room for over a year. Offering classes from Monday to Thursday for all ages in the art of getting fit in our fun, relaxed environment. She also offers alternative dance styles such as Cancan, Cheerleading and Burlesque.
The price of a course is £75 for 10 weeks or if you fancy just dropping in then there is a £7.50 pay as you go scheme.
Anne also caters for hen parties and corporate team building events including cocktails, surprise gifts and certificates to show off to your friends and families. These are priced at £100 for the 1st 4 people and £10 thereafter for any additional participants.
