On same street along harbor as The King's Wark, this restaurant is more upscale, more expensive, but with delicious food. I had a roasted chicken dish over a tomato sauce with chorizo, 3 types of beans, green peppers and onions. The chicken skin was crispy and delicious. My son had the roasted Aubergine with ratatouille and goat cheese. He loved it. My daughter had the sea bass over Dauphinaise potatoes with green beans and she loved hers as well. Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert. Yum!

We spent a couple of nights in Leith, and called into The Granary without much prior planning. The atmosphere was immediately inviting, with live music upstairs and a cosy feel downstairs. Service was quick and friendly, and our food was excellent. My wife had Feta Parcels to start, followed by Venison, while I had some breads to start, and a Cod Mushroom Risotto special. The venison was cooked to perfection as was the cod. I finished off with Cranachan, which was delightful. Would happily recommend The Granary to anyone passing through Leith.
