My first blog...

it's been a long month, but so far enjoyable!

I've finally got some time free to come & talk to you alll about what's happening here at The Granary.

FRESH..SIMPLE..TASTY (and that's just me!)

Our new spring/summer menu is being written right now & I know you're going to like the new dishes I'm proposing based around fresh ingredients dropped off everyday from our wonderfull suppliers.

Right, that's enough for now, but I'll be back soon with some special treats for you.

ps. have you booked for Valentines weekend yet? Book online at the top of the page - oh and don't forget Mother's day is coming up soon. I've just finished the menu for that & I'm sure me mam would be proud!

 6 Nations Rugby

It's that time of year again to be proud (or not) to be Scottish.

Murrayfield will be reverberating with the sounds of thousands of voices in unison (hopefully with cries of joy) as Scotland open their 2010 campaign against France on Sunday 7^th

If you don't have tickets for the game, get yourself down to The Granary as we'll be showing the game LIVE on our BIG screen (along with recordings of the previous days games) and enjoy the mighty Scots steamroll all over those Frenchies for only the 6^th time since 1992! (hopefully)

If you do have tickets for the game, we'll be opening up our function room pre-match with it's full bar & some solid hearty food such as stovies for you to keep that beer soaked up!!

We will have our function room open for all of Scotland's games with the same offers as above and where possible recordings of other games to show on our big screen.

Sundays were made for lounging.. and what better way is there to relax next to the fire with a belly full of tasty Scottish breakfast and a glass full of the wonder that is a bloody mary.

We have a great variety to chose from:

from the mild & sweet (yes sweet) to the scorchio sweat inducing (but in a nice way)

So come on down next Sunday and relax with a bloody mary and full cooked breakfast for only £10

lounging with the Sunday papers, with the sound of our resident pianist in the background (2pm-4pm)or even filling up with some classic Sunday roast (along side Dans granny's yorkie recipe!!
