The launch of Ghillie Dhu in Spring 2010 marks the unveiling of the stunning vaulted ceiling of the former St Thomas Episcopal Church. With an enviable location, tucked in at the west end of Princes Street between the main shopping district and the cities financial hub, Ghillie Dhu is an easily accessible venue for all manner of events large or small.

The beautifully restored main Auditorium located on the first floor at Ghillie Dhu is a breathtaking architectural setting ideally suited for a range of events, from an away day for 70 delegates to black tie dinner for 140 guests. The stunning vaulted ceiling and floor length windows f the auditorium make for a unique event space which will wow all attendees to your all important meeting, conference, dinner or special occasion.

The Ghillie Dhu benefits from an experienced onsite events team who are poised to look after your event from enquiry through to completion, and every small detail in-between. The in house kitchen team has created a variety of mouth watering menus from the best produce that Scotland's larder can offer, and if you have something specific in mind they are only to happy to work with you on the menu possibilities.

The Auditorium at Ghillie Dhu truly is a breathtaking space and it lends to all manner of events for business and social occasions. Our head chef has put together a sumptuous selection of menu options to suit all occasions. Be it a delicate canapé reception, a heart warming buffet or a black tie banquet you are looking for we are sure to have the perfect combination for you.

This substantial space is ideally suited for a variety of layouts including theatre style, reception, cabaret or boardroom to name but a few. Make More of Your Day!

Following your meeting why not unwind with a few drinks or a bite to eat amidst the hustle and bustle of the downstairs bar. Let us know in advance and we can reserve one of our custom made booths for you and your guests at no extra charge. If you want to make a night of it we can arrange for a buffet platters and 1 or 2 drinks to be built into your delegate package. With local beers and cask ales available on tap, an extensive selection of premium of spirits and array of fine malts to choose from you will be sure to please your most discerning attendee!
