Our karaoke booths hold up to 15 people and can be hired out for you and your mates for as long as you like 7 nights a week.
They cost just £20 an hour (or free Monday - Thursday for you Social Animal Card holders - ask at the bar if you don't have one!) and have LOADS of songs to choose from.
The machines are incredibly simple to work so you are left in complete control.
Unfortunately you are also in control of stopping the videos appearing on youtube the next day...enjoy ;)

The venue can hold 175 people.
Prices depend on if you need a buffet / D.J. etc provided but they're very sexy :)

2010...end of a decade...the noughties...what a disappointment! The biggest event was Cheryl Cole releasing her own brand of toilet paper.
However! Some things never go out of fashion, like good bands, good banter and good beer!
There have been some big changes here in Capitol recently...so if you find yourself wandering in you'll find a darker sexier bar...we've turned the lights down, the music up and our new policy is nae bams, nae jakes, nae fakes.
You can get a cheap beer with an even cheaper pizza 7 days a week... or...if you're feeling particularly adventurous ask our bar staff for a pornstar...or a rockstar..whichever you fancy :)

Hey Folks! Laura here, new venue manageress at Capitol. I'll be dealing with all the gigs we've got going on so if you have previously booked anything with Libby or you're looking to book a gig please drop me an email at capitolgigs@live.co.uk
So whether you've played in Capitol before or this is your first ever gig let me hit you with some info about our venue here. Starting in the new year we’re trying to pump out great gigs 7 nights a week from both local and touring bands. The venue holds 170 people so be sure to bring all your pals! Our gigs are free entry, the sound engineer is supplied for free and if you can bring over 25 people we will give you £25 for playing :) Unfortunately we don't currently have our own backline but I'm always happy to forward on details of all the bands playing so you can work out how you want to split it. It's no biggie eh? Lookin' forward to hearin' from you! Laura x

We use real ingredients in our food and we know where those ingredients come from. It sounds simple but you'd be surprised how rare it is these days. Our head chef Brian hand makes all our burgers, chili, meatballs, pizza bases, pizza sauce, cheese sauce, buffalo wing glaze and the steak and Guiness pie.
It's not fine dining and we're fine with that. It's just good food and good fun!
