Louise Ferguson

As head chef of Ketchup and Social, Louise never has a dull moment at work...which is just as well as her personality wouldn't settle for anything less!

Louise has been with G1 for two and a half years, which has seen her learn greatly from her first Head Chef position at The Hermitage in Bishopbriggs, her time at The Byre and now in her current position at Ketchup/ Social.

Always eager to learn and improve, Lou is fond of the old saying that ‘every day's a school day...especially in a kitchen!' This attitude and eagerness is sure to see Louise and her units go from strength to strength.

Louise's upbeat, positive bouncy attitude is perfectly suited to the high tempo demands of Ketchup and suits the fun, vibrant character of the unit itself.

She makes work fun for her team and her kitchen is always full of energy and excitement. She has an excellent relationship with the waiting staff and is always keen to hear what the customers are saying.

The great success that is Ketchup Southside wouldn't be possible without Louise's hard work and attitude in the Kitchen and the passion and detail that is put into every single one of the amazing Ketchup burgers.

Having seen and made every single dish on the menu, it's worth taking Lou's advice. So what's her favourite?

The Italiano comes out on top: It's a fantastic blend of succulent chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, fresh peppers and salad...Mama Mia it's a beauty!
