My name is Aurelien QUINTIN but everyone call me Ollie, I am Head Chef at the Byre in East-Kilbride.
I was born in Vannes in France witch is situated on the south coast of Britanny.
I passed all my chidhood there and studied at Jean guehenno Catering School for four years.
After working winter season in Chamonix and Summer season in Britanny, I came to Scotland in 1998, started for macdonalds hotel at the Forest Hills in aberfoyle, i have worked in different places over the years such as Cameron House, Dunblane Hydro, Grange Manor Hotel, Holyrood Hotel.
I have also worked for Cunard/Seabourn cruise liner for a couple of world cruise.
More recently i join the g1 group at the byre in ek.
The Byre is a exciting concept witch regroup different atmosphere and experience in the same place. I beleive it has what any potential customer could look for, by our diversity we tick people's boxes.
Our Farmer Market every first sunday of each month is a fantastic regroupment of passionate foodies looking for something local and organic. All the exposant are dedicated to quality and passionate about her produces. And so are we, so come and enjoy. Let us endolged you and reach everyone of your expectation.

Richardson Oils is a family run business based in Coatbridge, just off the M8 Motorway. Richardson Oils have been trading for over 15 years and started initially as a waste oil collection service. Sales of fresh oil, dry store food products and catering disposables have increasingly formed the major part of their business.
Simon Howie began his first butchery business from the Perthshire village of Dunning, where it quickly established an outstanding reputation for supplying meat to restaurants and hotels. A state of the art factory was built to keep up with demand from which it continues to supply butchery and chef prepared products to chefs, restaurants and many of the UK's leading supermarkets. Although Simon Howie Butchers is now a much bigger operation, traditional craft skills are still practised, quite literally taking the concept of a local butcher into the supermarket arena.
