Richardson Oils is a family run business based in Coatbridge, just off the M8 Motorway. Richardson Oils have been trading for over 15 years and started initially as a waste oil collection service. As many of you are aware your local school Bothwell Primary is getting Refubished and the Fundraising Commitee are as always looking for generous donations, so I came up with the idea of Auctioning off our chef Michael Kilkie, who is also resident chef for The Sunday Mail, And that raised over £250 to go toward the Kids "Smart Boards" Michael and I went to Mr/s Samwells House to cook and serve them and 8 of there Guests.
We are also Running a compitition in the school, for the kids to name our function rooms, and whatever kid comes up with the best name, gets a free KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY here at Cricklewood. Good Luck guys.
We are going to support the school at every corner and we hope that you do the same!
As many of you are probably aware that our Executive Head Chef here at Cricklewood also is the residant chef of the Sunday Mail Magazine finding one of his great recipes in there each Sunday, Even some of our items have appeared in the Paper like the Lasagne. Best Lasagne in Bothwell (Well so some say, but those some are RIGHT!) Funny that, 2 Italians and yet Cricklewood do the best Lasagne.

Its was a busy week for me last week even though I was on holiday from my day job (head chef at the cricklewood).
Wednesday was my usual deadline stressed day as my weekly article in the Sunday Mail is due in and believe it or not it takes me a fair bit of time, I was also involved in the Right at Home exhibition at the SECC where I was handing samples of fabulous food kindly donated by the suppliers - (thanks to those who helped out).
I'd also like to thank Andy and Anton from Hummingbird on Bath street who were on hand to create some fantastic cocktails to accompany my culinary efforts... we even managed to get on Real Radio and had some random French Martini banter.
So down to business.... This week's recipe for you is for my delicious Lasagne and those of you local to Bothwell will know that I lay down the gauntlet to the local Italian eateries by claiming to make the best lasagne in Bothwell, to this date no reply therefore I have no choice but to state claim to this title and to ensure the recipe isn't kept like grannies secret here it is so you have a go at making it at home, any questions drop me an e-mail; michaelkilkie@sundaymail.co.uk
