The Bothy St Andrews
The creation of a traditional Scottish restaurant within the heart of St Andrews is set to launch in 2010 in the site of a former derelict golf factory on Market Street.
This former factory will be transformed into the highest quality Scottish restaurant where traditional Scottish food will be served with a warm welcome from kilted staff. As well as The Bothy Restaurant, the former Murray Mitchell Butchers will be redeveloped into a delicatessen retailing the finest local produce.
The interior of this building will feature a mix of traditional Scottish crafts including specialist ceramic, timber, glass and metal installations, live Scottish folk music and Highland dance performances within the main atrium space, traditional 'old style' stone huts or Bothys to house private dining areas and printed rich Scottish velvet curtains and fabrics.
This quality offering will appeal to both the well healed local market as well as International tourists visiting St Andrews.
